Its those moments when you see the faces of little ones. The innocence. The purity. The pain.
Everything inside me in those moments wants nothing more than to be with that child. To hold them and love them and tell them of Jesus, the One who is enough. The One who has joy and peace and hope abounding in Love.
Every part of me wants to put a bubble around these kids so that the innocence can stay. So that the pain is not intensified. So that the purity remains. So that they are safe and educated.
When I think of the staggering statistics, the brokenness is overwhelming and seems almost useless to even do anything.
My heart is called to lay it in the hands of the One who is Redeemer. Who is Restorer. He is good, even in the face of the brokenness these children experience on a daily basis. He is enough.
