abide with Me.

as i prepare to leave, this is the constant prayer in my heart:
that i would abide and rest in the One who never changes; the One who knows well what we are stepping in to.
one of my biggest worries is that i legitimately won't be able to handle the things i see. im pretty confident that i wont. but im also pretty confident that i dont have to. i serve the One who is before all things and the One who holds all things together. including me. including the heartbreak i'm about to encounter.
as i choose to rest and abide, i trust that He has been preparing my heart and the He will be there in those present moments revealing His glory.
He is before all things and in Him all things hold together.
